- What is the difference between player and controller actions?
Generally Rewired works off player configuration, so you can pre configure how the players controls would work within the Rewired input manager and then make use of it via the individual actions. The configuration will always occur within Rewired as it abstracts the underlying input mechanisms into a configuration step.
- I mainly use Rewired through code, can I still make use of this asset?
That is up to you, but there are many helpful situations where you would want to check the status of keys or axis' within your behaviours, or it may be useful for non coders within the team such as designers etc.
